Marriner never ceases to amaze. I love the modern girl in the hands
of natives scenario 4 out of 5 (Sooty)
The heroine of this story passes, in my opinion, too many hands. The
idea of being enslaved by primitive tribes, from Scientist reduced to
exploited animal, it is a great idea. But enough is enough!
Finally she is changed completely to unrecognizable state of undefined
kind of animal, exaggerated sex, exaggerated modification, exaggerated
Although that the story is well told, it is totally Exaggerated!.. .
Then the story takes a turn. Later she is used on cheap circuses as a
strange shown in China. When an economic crisis gets her owner, she is
rented to agricultural work as a beast of field and so on...
That part improves the whole story.

Wild White Woman
Anthropologist Isobel has managed to find her way to a remote Polynesian island, where she thought she could study the language in its pure form. Instead she finds herself unwillingly studying the rampant sexuality of the islanders, including acts which were beyond her wildest imagination!
As with all Peter Marriner's heroines, Isobel's adventures do not end with this discovery: she soon discovers that there is a good deal of pain in her life as men of all rank seek to dominate the hapless white woman, selling her on when it suits them until she ends up, caged and displayed, in a travelling circus, as the Wild White Woman!

For many years a Merchant Seaman who voyaged world wide. Wrote most of the stories then foe my own amusement and updated them later for publication.
An interest in SF themes particularly Post Catastrophe worlds as a way to strand white females among non-European survivor groups.
Some of the stories are historically based in wilder times and places.
